General information for international customers

Dear customers,

welcome to our shop of fine and rare wines. As this shop is mostly in German language, please find here some useful hints and explanations to help you navigate through our shop.

If you are looking for a particular wine or grower/producer, you can type the name (or part of it) in the general search field (Suche).

If you are looking for a particular vintage, go into one of the categories first (i. e. Wein (wine), Schaumwein (sparkling wine) etc) and then you can narrow your search on the left hand side.

There you will find vintage (Jahrgang), country (Land), colour (Farbe) and others.

Shipment cost to most countries of the European Union you will find under this link: Delivery information

These rates are flat rates inclusive VAT, no matter how many bottles shipped, - and the good news: it gets cheaper the more you buy, i. e. shipment to France is 21,90 Euro for orders with a value below 200 Euro, 19,50 Euro for orders valued between 200 and 500 Euro, and only 13,55 Euro for orders above 500 Euro.

Customers from the UK please note, due to the new political situation, shipment to the UK is currently not offered through our webshop. However, it can be arranged by request. Please contact us. At the moment collection (Abholung) will be the only option to choose, when placing an order in our webshop with a delivery address in the UK.

Customers from outside the EU please note, shipment cost to other countries cannot be calculated and processed by the webshop automatically. Orders are possible, but "Abholung" (collection) will be the only option to choose. Unless you really want to collect the goods from our premises and/or arrange the shipping by yourself, these orders will be treated as requests and need to be confirmed, once we have calculated and offered you the shipment options. Here you can contact us directly for a shipping quote: Kontakt

Abbreviations to describe bottle condition:

For describing the level of Bordeaux style bottles we use well known international terms, i. e. ts = top shoulder, us = upper shoulder and so on. With Burgundy shaped bottles we use U (for ullage) and a number, i. e U 4 meaning ullaged 4 cm.
